It was an honour to convene the “Dialogue and Directions” session hosted by The PCOS Society of India, with the discussion centred on the topic “Optimising Ovulation Induction in PCOS.” My sincere thanks to Dr. Duru Shah, Founder and President of the Society, for the opportunity to contribute to this impactful academic initiative that brings together leading voices to advance care for women with PCOS.
The session featured my mentor, Prof. Adam Balen, who delivered an insightful and comprehensive lecture on ovulation induction, a key challenge in managing PCOS related infertility. I had the privilege of sharing clinical perspectives and strategies for individualising treatment protocols. The session was rich in scientific value and a testament to the power of global collaboration in reproductive medicine.
This event held deep personal significance for me. Having trained under Prof. Balen in Leeds nearly two decades ago, it was especially meaningful to host him in this capacity. His generous reflections and continued mentorship remain a source of inspiration. Contributing to the field alongside him, now as a clinician and educator, was a full-circle moment I will always cherish.
